<image:caption>Melissa Dohse, LCSW, SEP, Founder, Clinical Director & Supervising Therapist Your capacity for change, healing, and growth is why I do this work. In the 10 years that I have been in the field, courage is what has always shown up at my door. Courage is always what leads us to change -- courage to believe that things could be different, that life doesn't have to feel this way. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your journey from courage to hope. I received my Bachelors of Social Work from NAU and graduated with a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Denver. <image:caption>Dorothy (Dorrie) Beckley, LPC, Intern Coordinator and Supervising Therapist As humans, I believe one of our greatest needs is to be met with kindness and understanding. My intention as a practitioner is to provide a safe and grounded space in which you are seen and deeply respected. I look forward to meeting you to see if we might be a good fit as you begin or continue the journey of coming home to yourself. As a practitioner I enjoy working with a wide variety of people across the lifespan with different challenges and symptoms. I have specialized training in trauma recovery, complex trauma recovery, and grief integration. I am hesitant to pathologize, and more often tend to view symptoms as natural adaptations and defenses to challenging or unsafe circumstances in one’s developmental environment. Together we can explore these dynamics with curiosity and kindness, and learn skills to meet these moments in new ways so that you experience a greater sense of self, choice, and liberation in your life. Clinical modalities offered include; Compassionate Bereavement Care. for Traumatic Loss, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am an AZ board approved clinical supervisor, and I enjoy mentoring graduate level interns and associate level clinicians. In Network with BCBS, United, UMR, Optum and Aetna Private Pay Rate $165.00 Sliding Scale as available. See Availability Here</image:caption>

<image:caption>Denise L. Henderson, LPC, SEP, Therapist Life is an ever shifting journey that proves more challenging at certain times than others. The challenges that we face are unique to each of us. It is my belief and the reason this work continues to be my passion, that having safe, compassionate, skilled relationships are what heal us and support our agency (I can!). As a therapist, I strive to offer work that is reparative and restorative to my clients' nervous systems. When clients feel that they belong, have an increased sense of hope and understanding of self, and can take another step forward I believe that I have done a large part of my job. I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). I specialize in trauma work which includes developmental trauma and increased resolution of both past and present trauma. This trauma may have been ongoing over a period of time or an isolated incident. I have been trained to understand how trauma affects the nervous system and how to support a person back to a sense of greater ease in the world. I have been a therapist for 20 years and have worked with with most ages and stages of development. <image:caption>Long before I considered becoming a counselor, I noticed people’s struggles; the quiet suffering, the weight they carry, and how often it goes unseen. I believe that healing begins with honesty, empathy, and real human connection, and that belief is what ultimately led me into this work. With more than five years of experience in mental health care, I understand that healing looks different for everyone and that each story deserves to be met with care and respect. I bring a realistic, genuine, and grounded approach, creating a warm space where you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. Therapy with me is about creating enough safety to show up as you are and move forward at your own pace. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, addiction, recovery, grief, anger/mood management, relationship challenges, identity concerns, and life adjustments. I also support first responders and military veterans impacted by occupational trauma. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and collaborative, integrating CBT, DBT, MI, mindfulness, somatic work, behavioral interventions, and a strengths-based lens. Together, we can focus on building practical tools, insight, and sustainable change. For those who feel most grounded in nature, I also offer walk-and-talk therapy. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences from Northern Arizona University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Addiction Treatment and Recovery from Capella University. Outside of work, I enjoy running, hiking, yoga, reading, and crafting, and I’m often adventuring with my fiancé or spending quiet evenings with our cats and retired pup. <image:caption>Hannah Hackett, LAC I love humans and our messy, beautiful journeys here on earth with all our humanity. To me this love underscores all the work that I do. When we are provided spaces to be held, seen, and loved in our humanity, powerful things take place. I am dedicated to providing compassionate and empathetic support for individuals navigating their unique paths. My belief in the power of genuine connection underscores my intention to create a safe, nurturing space where you can explore, reflect, be, and heal. As a counseling generalist, I find joy in working with diverse individuals across their lifespans and addressing a wide range of challenges. In my work, I believe looking at societal factors, systems of power, and cultural narratives that influence our mental health is just as important as understanding individual experiences. I am committed to continually do my best to be culturally aware, to provide gender and LGBTQ+ affirming care, and to honor each person’s identity and lived experience. Guided by person-centered, social-constructivist, and trauma-informed approaches, my practice integrates modalities such as EMDR, polyvagal and nervous system–informed work, and Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work), along with mindfulness and somatic therapies. Rejecting a pathologizing approach, I view symptoms as natural adaptations to life’s challenges. Together, we will explore these dynamics with curiosity, kindness, and a willingness to grow. I received my Bachelor's degrees in Adventure Education and Psychology at Prescott College, and I completed my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling also at Prescott. Outside of counseling, I love doing yoga, spending time in nature, and building community. I look forward to starting our journey together. See Availability Here</image:caption>
